Casey and Adam Fall

A few weeks ago my good friend Casey got married and I had the pleasure of taking her wedding pictures. I think they came out really well. We had so much fun too! We started the day at the beauty shop and by the time the reception rolled around I had taken almost 700 pictures! Thanks goodness for digital! Here are a few I took that are my favorites:

The one above is my absolute favorite but I really like these of the kissing and cake!

Christmas Day Afternoon

After playing a little while with gifts from Santa, we got ready and went to Matt's parents' house to open more gifts and eat breakfast. After my parents, Santa, and Matt's parents, I think I need another house just for toys! Cassidy got moon shoes, a book, clothes, DVDs, games, a cookbook ,and all kinds of other stuff. Madison got her very own kitchen, DVDs, clothes, dolls, and a few learning toys. Matt's mom also continued her tradition of getting the girls each a snow baby. She does this every year and always tries to find one that matches something the girls did that year and so on. After all of this, we then went to visit my grandparents where they got a few more toys!

Christmas Morning

I am still a kid at heart so I was awake at 5:45 Christmas morning ready to open gifts. By 6:30 when neither of my girls nor Matt had woken up, I woke Matt up and told him we had to get the girls up. After shaking his head in disbelief, we got up with the cameras and I went to get the girls. Madison wasn't too thrilled about being woken, but Cassidy helped her to get excited. All I can say is they must have been really good girls this year because they got loaded up. Cassidy's big gift was a Wii, that came with all the extras. She also got a really cute girly Auburn jacket and some Auburn earring, plus a few DVDs, cute pajamas and slippers, and a few other things. Madison got a princess DVD player to go with her princess TV (the other DVD player broke), plus Dora and Pegasus, cute pjs and slippers like Cassidy's, DVDs, plus a lot of little things. They also got a stocking full of candy, games, and ornaments. I had very happy little girls!

Christmas Eve at Nana and PawPaw's

Christmas Eve we always spend at my parents' house. We put the girls in their Christmas pajamas then head over there to eat dinner and open gifts. After eating a really good steak dinner (thanks Daddy!) we opened presents. And opened presents. Then, we opened some more. We started off giving my mom her picture that we had blown up and framed of me, Krystal, and BJ, and she LOVED it! My dad liked his too that we surprised him with of us and the grand kids. Then it was on to the kids. The girls both got scooters, baby dolls, clothes, Hannah Montana stuff, plus my dad bought all the kids a play kitchen to stay at his house in the play room.

But the big surprise of the night came for Cassidy because she got her first hunting rifle.

John Michael's Birthday

John Michael turned 4 on December 6th so we headed to Hueytown to celebrate! The theme was Handy Manny (which having two girls I had never heard of) and it was really cute. My mother-in-law made the cake, which Michael calls crack, and Tammy had the kids paint cute little toys. The boys had trucks and the girls had mirrors. It was really cute and we had fun. I just can't believe he is already 4!!

Shores Family Photos

My dad asked Krystal, BJ, and me if we would get together and have our picture made for my mom so Sunday afternoon we met at Botanical Gardens and did just that. We also took some surprise shots for my dad too! Here are a few...

Christmas Tree Farm

Matt, my mother-in-law, and I took the five kids to the Pine Hill Tree farm. It was really nice. They have complimentary hot chocolate, a tractor ride, and real reindeer. They also have a few photo props set up, perfect for scrapbooking! We didn't get our tree here (they are cheaper at Lowe's!) but we did have a good time!
