Redneck Girl

Well Cassidy has been bitten by a certain bug that completely skipped me:the hunting one. I am soooo glad my dad never pushed it on me because i just don't feel it. However, Cassidy has gone to the club with him a few times and sat in the shooting houses and has learned to love it. To the utter delight of my dad she shot her first deer last weekend with the 243 he got her last Christmas (remember, it was in my blog last year!), As you can see from the picture, it is hard to see who is the most thrilled: him or her? :o)

I think this is one reason I didn't get bit, I would DIE if someone smeared dead animal blood on me!!!

Here she is with her trophy!

Thanksgiving 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We spent the morning at Matt's parents' , then the evening at mine. As you can see, Miss Charley is still loving her momma! I really can't wait till next year when she will get to eat with us!!

Does anyone else have an obsession with Gymboree too? I LOVE that store, and have gotten to where I buy the girls a Thanksgiving/Christmas outfit there every year. This is from the Gingerbread man line. As you can see, I can mix and match from young lady to baby!!

Here are the Shores grand kids with their favorite person B.J. (they call him Bubba) When he is around they make every step he does. I have to say though he is pretty crazy about them too!

Gatlinburg 2009

November 6th was mine and Matt's ten year wedding anniversary. Unbelievable. I cannot believe we have been married that long. Of course, I don't remember life before him since we have been together so long. I just know that I am a very lucky woman and thank God everyday for sending this man into my life. He is a great father and wonderful husband and I love him very much! And in case you didn't notice, these girls love him too!!

To celebrate this occasion, we went to the place we honeymooned:Gatlinburg! After talking it over, there was just no way we could not take the girls with us so we all loaded up and we rented a chalet for a long weekend. The chalet was beautiful, as well as the weather!

After stuffing ourselves at the Log Cabin Pancake house, we started the day off just walking around Gatlinburg. We played games, shopped, did Ripley's Mirror Maze, ate at Fanny Farkles, and shopped some more!

We took a break for a minute in this pretty area and decided it would make a nice backdrop!

We had such a great time I told Matt we needed to make this our own little family tradition; just the five of us coming every year for a few days. It was worth every penny!

Who says you can't post Halloween pictures in November?

We had our families over for Halloween this year. I cooked chili, hot dogs, and brots, not too mention enough sweets to last till next year. After getting every body's belly full, we loaded up the kids and took them to our church trunk-or-treat, which is fabulous every year.

Isn't she the cutest??? I got this little ghost outfit at the Kid Market this year and I loved it on her. I can't believe how she is growing! When I bought the 3 month outfit, I just knew it would swallow her whole!

Here are Pocahontas, Snow White, and my little monkey!

Busy at the Georges!

I have been horrible about updating my blog but things have been crazy! Besides being busy with 3 kids (4 counting Matt) we have had sooooooooo much going on! Besides school, Cassidy is cheering for McAdory, she and Madison are both playing fall ball, and, oh yeah, a newborn! I am back to work so it seems like there is never enough hours in the day for anything. Oh well! I have included a few pictures and instead of trying to catch up, I will just move on! I will update again soon!
