The Beach!
We left Tuesday morning with Matt's parents, his sister and her kids, and headed down to Orange Beach for a couple of days. We had a great time. I wanted a few more days! My girls absolutely love the beach. They love the sand, the ocean, the sun; just everything! The only bad part was the first part of the week the red flags were out due to the strong undertow, which meant Cassidy couldn't boogie board as far out as she would have liked. Plus the jellyfish were pretty bad, so we would let them get their fill of the sand, then we made our way to the pool at the condo. After great meals at Lambert's, Wolf Bay Lodge, and the Shrimp Basket, it was hard to come home!
Cassidy's Birthday Party
Cassidy decided that she wanted to have her birthday party at the bowling alley this year, so on Saturday July 19 we rented 4 lanes at Vestavia Bowl and set the kids loose. They had a blast! So did the parents! We ate pizza, cake, and cosmic bowled. After she opened all 800 presents, she invited 4 of the little girls to come back home with her and spend the night. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night. She had a good time though and that's what mattered!
Cassidy's Birthday 7/17/08
Wow we have had so much going on the last couple of weeks I have to catch up! Cassidy turned 7 on July 17, and I cannot believe I have a second grader! I told Matt she would be 14 before we know it! She had a party planned for the weekend, but I just couldn't let her day go by without doing something so we stopped by Dairy Queen and picked up an ice cream cake before heading to my parents. We ate cake, swam, and let her open some presents.

Cassidy's All-Star Party
We had a blast Saturday at Cassidy's team party. I left Madison with my mother so I wouldn't have to chase her around! It was nice sitting outside around the pool talking to grown-ups! The girls really had a good time, and they really liked the trophies I picked out for them, so I was very happy about that. Not to mention we catered in Pizza Hut and had one of my mother-in-law's famous cakes so we were all happy!

Cassidy playing softball
Cassidy has just recently finished her last year in the sweetee league at McCalla ball park, and was it a great one! Matt coached her for the first time this year, and her regular season team won the season with a final record of 22-4. They then went on to sweep Pleasant Grove in the sub-district and now hold the title of district 3 champs. Cassidy was the circle girl, in both regular season and all-stars. That is a big deal in the sweetee league. She impressed everyone with her defense, which included an outstanding over the shoulder fly ball catch. Needless to say the whole family has been very proud of her. We are looking to a great year next year when she moves up to the darling league. I can't wait!

Rewind...
Just wanted to back up a little bit and let everyone know what has been going on in our lives so far this year. We took the girls to Orlando March 16-20, and spent our time between Sea World and Universal Studios. We had a blast! I celebrated my 27th birthday during this week and absolutely loved the fact I was away from work and everything else that gets in the way and was with my husband and girls instead.
Our First Blog:Hello All!
Hey Everyone! I am so excited to now have a blog. I love the idea of being able to show off my beautiful family to friends, and just let everyone know what is going on in our lives. I have been married to Matt George (McAdory class of 98) for almost nine years now. We are still as happy as ever. I truly believe God creates that one special person for you, and that you are not complete until you find them. I am just so blessed to have found mine as soon as I did! On our one year wedding anniversary we found out we were pregnant with our first little girl, Cassidy Lynn. She will be 7 on July 17. I cannot believe how big she is getting! She is about as perfect as a child can be. She is beautiful, polite, smart, and loves the outdoors and sports. She is a princess and tomboy combined into one! On March 30, 2006 we had our second little girl Madison Ann. She was definitely a blessing. On January 5, 2005 I gave birth to a stillborn son, and it nearly destroyed me. If it was not for my faith in the Lord and the love of my husband, I don't think I could have gotten through it. It was seven months after this that I found out I was pregnant with Madison. She is my wild one! She is adorable and rotten rolled into one. I thank the Lord every day for these miracles.
